Katie + Charlie’s fairytale Spring wedding was like stepping inside a magazine. Every inch was filled with purposeful design meant to ignite their guests’ senses and keep their interest throughout the evening. The entire day was filled with so much beauty, love and laughter. Our team was honored to take part in such an unforgettable day!     

Katie chose a soft whimsical design for her show stopping bridal bouquet. We incorporated an array of lush blooms along with interesting greens to achieve this style. We absolutely adored the seasonal peonies, delphinium and jasmine vine she chose for her custom bouquet design!

Katie and Charlie’s traditional Catholic wedding ceremony took place at the chapel at The Summit Country Day School. We designed a lush growing garden lining the sides of the front pews along with large pedestal arrangements to frame the ceremony. Helping our clients identify where and how to add florals during a ceremony is critical to the balance and framing for the photography of the ceremony.

Guests arrived at the Cincinnati Country Club for the reception and were greeted with trays of brightly colored signature cocktails, perfectly matching the fully bloomed coral charm peonies accenting the arrangements. Our design team shared floral inspiration with Poeme to create a wrap for the bars which coordinated with the arrangements. We chose subtle green and white printed linens for the high top tables to finalize the charming cocktail space.

The crisp white backdrop of the venue was the perfect contrast to the vivid spring blooms that were used in the arrangements.

Katie chose a lush floral runner with accenting taper candles for her head table.  The unique design stood out from the rest of the guest tables and drew the focus to the couple throughout the reception.

We surrounded the traditional 4 tiered cake from Bonbonerie with a beautiful floral cake meadow.

As guests made their way to the dance floor later in the evening, they were surrounded by a landscape of lush blooms, designed to make them feel as if they were dancing in an outdoor garden!

Creating memorable concepts throughout this wedding was a fun challenge for our design team. We had so much fun collaborating with the stellar vendor team on this unforgettable wedding!
