Sitting down with a couple and their parents for the first time is always a joyful conversation filled with lots of questions. How do I budget for the wedding? Do you know a vendor for that? How do we pick the right linens to complement the flowers? Can you help us think through all of this? We’ve never done this before!

In addition to creating beautiful floral arrangements, we also have decades of experience designing weddings, parties and events. We’ve found that through the process of meeting with a couple and their family that there tends to be an organic shift from designing the florals to assisting with the larger wedding concept and design. Since we are typically the first “aesthetic” vendor that couples meet with, we spend a significant time during our initial consultation talking through the overarching wedding design elements such as linens, lighting and draping.

Typically our couples will add on our design services at the beginning of their planning process. Sometimes couples come to us overwhelmed with the planning and decide they need more assistance. No matter where a couple is in the process, we are always eager to step in and take some of the design work off their plate.

Following our initial consultation together we share a design questionnaire which we will use to create a comprehensive vision board.

Once the design has been approved, our team will recommend and coordinate a vendor team that will be able to bring the design to life.

As the design evolves, our designers will meet at the venue for a design walk-through followed by a mockup of a tablescape design. This allows our couples to feel, touch and smell the final design so there aren’t any surprises on the wedding day!

Our team will be on-site on your wedding day to ensure the wedding design is executed to perfection!

The wedding featured in the post is that of Jess + Ian, which took place at the Greenacres Arts Center in September of 2023. We worked with the couple to create a design that spoke to them and their relationship.
